Tokyo Biker

I'm going to be in Tokyo for a week in March and would love to get a ride in. Any suggestions? Tough to rent a bike? Is it worth the time? Tour guides available? Be cool to hook up with local riders to tour the path less traveled. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
